How to Make Hot Chocolate at Home?

To do this, you need to pre-purchase a hot chocolate in the dry form, or go the other way and make a drink from a usual chocolate (of course, the taste will be slightly different from the "branded"). 

Therefore, prepare a tile of dark chocolate without any additives, nuts and other ingredients. Take a small saucepan or ladle, a measuring or a simple cup. In addition, prepare a package of milk. 

Break up the chocolate tile into small slices − as a rule, in the recipes, where the chocolate is poured with milk, it is ground on a fine grater or in a blender. However, in our case, the recipe is somewhat different because we will cook chocolate on a low heat. It will be enough to break it into tiles that can dissolve quickly in milk. 

Next, pour in a bowl about a cup and a half of milk. Its fat content should be at least 2.5%. Put it on a warming and bring it to a boil, but not letting it boil. As soon as you see that the milk begins to boil, add to it a broken bar of chocolate, evenly stirring the composition. Stir it until the chocolate dissolves and the mixture turns into a homogeneous mass. 

Do you want foam with the hot chocolate? − Before remove out the drink from the fire, whisk it well until a thick foam forms. Next, let the drink brew until it becomes extremely thick. This amount of chocolate should be enough for three or four portions. 

Serve the viscous hot chocolate preferably with a dessert spoon, which has an elongated handle. Please, note that you can, if desired, make any pattern on the whipped foam. In addition, the drink is added with whipped cream, vanilla or a stick of cinnamon. Less often, the hot chocolate is served with the marshmallows. The main thing is not to overdo it with the additives, so as not to lose the original taste of chocolate. 

Here is a simple and uncomplicated recipe for making the hot chocolate. The drink is very relevant in the cold, rainy autumn and winter evenings, and will also be very handy on a cool summer evening.
