For example, it has a positive effect on the pancreas, "unloading" it and establishing a normal work. In addition, the sour cream stimulates appetite and positively affects the hormonal background of the organism. Among other things, the fundamental impact of sour cream on the psycho-emotional state of a man has been proved. 

The sour cream, like a lot of other dairy products, contains a large amount of calcium. Consequently, it has a positive effect on the growth and development of bones, teeth or nails, promotes the prevention of the osseous system diseases, counteracts the brittle bones and so on. Unlike butter, the sour cream contains less cholesterol, and this is another plus of this product. It is worth remembering the useful use of sour cream as a cosmetic and medicinal product for the skin. Many girls make face masks on the basis of this product, as a result, the sour cream perfectly rejuvenates the skin, gives it youth, freshness and elasticity, changes the shade of the skin to natural. It is also known that the sour cream is an excellent remedy for relieving the skin inflammations, for example, after sun- and thermal burns. 

The sour cream contains useful micro-organisms and probiotics, which help to improve the functioning of the intestinal micro-flora and cope with diseases associated with this organ. Harmful Properties of Sour cream 

As for the harmful properties of this sour-milk product, then here it is necessary to note also a few negative qualities. In particular, it is a question of that the sour cream is not recommended in cases, if in the organism the acidity is broken. Also, due to the relatively high fat content and the availability of various additives and preservatives that are parts of the purchased sour cream, this product is not recommended for children under the age of 1.5-2 years. As for the homemade sour cream, in general it can be given to the children, however, in moderation.
