Value of Marshmallows - Good or Bad

Many of us are familiar with the taste of marshmallows. However, how many are familiar with its useful properties? Unfortunately, at the stage of marshmallows production, almost all vitamins disappear in it, but a lot of minerals and micro-elements remain. These include: 

- iron and zinc; 
- magnesium and phosphorus; 
- calcium and manganese.

Unfortunately, the marshmallow is characterized by the harmful properties. In part, it depends on several factors. Firstly, in the marshmallows there is sugar. And let the calories in the product a little, but this can lead to the increased blood sugar. Consequently, the product is contraindicated in diabetics. However, for such persons there is an alternative solution − the purchase of marshmallow made on the basis of fructose. In addition, in large quantities, the marshmallows can lead to obesity. 

Far from the most useful kinds of marshmallows are pink marshmallows, marshmallows in chocolate or coconut shavings. As a rule, in such products there are either food colorings or carcinogens, which in one way or another can disrupt the digestive system. Also, in a nutshell it should be emphasized that the marshmallows can disrupt the carbohydrate metabolism. 

Thus, this product has the harmful qualities, in addition to many useful ones. However, in general, the marshmallows are an absolutely harmless sweetness, which is recommended even for children.
